2009.07 | Surviving the Great Recession

It’s no secret that we find ourselves in challenging times, and with retail being the tough business it is in good times. In tough times it becomes increasingly difficult for retailers. To consider how we can best serve retail customers in times like this, we need to understand how the best of them are surviving.

Experts and pundits suggest it is best to get back to basics. Retailers need to worry about providing the right products, the right service, and the right price.

Putting it all together in a multi-channel strategy is even more of a challenge, but some organizations are working towards it.
